Requirements for a New Application
To apply for a Financial Services Permit, prepare the following:
- Completed Application Form: Properly filled and signed.
- Business Plan: Detailed description of the financial services to be provided.
- Proof of Incorporation: Certification of business registration in Mozambique.
- Capital Requirements: Proof of minimum capital as mandated by the Bank of Mozambique.
- Tax Identification Number (Nuit): Issued by Mozambique’s tax authority.
- Directors’ Credentials: Copies of qualifications and experience of key personnel.
- Compliance Documents: Proof of adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) and combating financing of terrorism (CFT) regulations.
- Office Premises Proof: Ownership or lease agreement of operational facilities.

Requirements for Renewal or Update

- Validity: Two years, renewable.
