The Namibia Mining Permit is issued to individuals or companies involved in small-scale or large-scale mining activities, allowing for the exploration and extraction of minerals under strict regulatory guidelines.
Requirements for a New Application
- Completed Application Form: Duly filled and signed.
- Cover Letter: Detailing the nature of mining activities, the location, and expected outcomes.
- Proof of Land Ownership or Lease Agreement: Documentation showing access to the mining site.
- Environmental Clearance Certificate: Issued by Namibia’s Ministry of Environment, Forestry, and Tourism.
- Feasibility Study Report: Highlighting the scope, sustainability, and economic impact of the project.
- Technical and Financial Resources: Evidence of the capacity to manage mining operations.
- Company Registration Documents: For businesses, including a Certificate of Incorporation.
- Police Clearance Certificate: For individuals involved in the mining operations.
- Valid Passport or Company Representative ID: With two blank pages.
- Prescribed Fee Payment: Proof of application fee payment.
