The Volunteer Permit is designed for individuals intending to engage in unpaid, non-commercial activities for NGOs, community organizations, or other approved institutions in Namibia.
Requirements for a New Application
- Completed Application Form: Duly filled and signed.
- Invitation Letter: From the organization confirming the volunteer position and the nature of the work.
- Proof of Organization’s Registration: Certificate of incorporation or registration of the host organization.
- Police Clearance Certificate: From the applicant’s home country and Namibia.
- Medical Report: Confirming the applicant’s health status.
- Passport: Valid for at least six months with two blank pages.
- Two Passport-Sized Photos: Recent and clear.
- Proof of Financial Means: Bank statements or sponsorship letter ensuring financial sustenance during the volunteer period.
- Return Travel Ticket: Proof of travel arrangements after the permit duration.
- Prescribed Fee Payment: Proof of application fee payment.
