    Introduction The Assured Income Permit in Rwanda is intended for foreign nationals who have a stable source of income and do not plan to engage in employment within the country. This permit is particularly suitable for retirees wishing to reside in Rwanda.

    Requirements for New Application To apply for a new Assured Income Permit, the following documents are required:

    • A detailed curriculum vitae (CV).
    • An original police clearance certificate from your country of residence covering the last six months.
    • Retirement certificate.
    • A bank statement from any bank in Rwanda.
    • An application letter.
    • Proof of local medical insurance obtained in Rwanda.

    Requirements for Renewal Application For those renewing their Assured Income Permit, the necessary documents include:

    • A retirement certificate.
    • An application letter.
    • A bank statement from a Rwandan bank for the preceding six months.
    • Proof of local medical insurance from Rwanda.

    Application Fee

    • The fee for an Assured Income Permit is 150,000 Rwandan Francs (Frw).
