Provision of Exemption Certificates in Lieu of Residence Permits for Diplomatic Community in Botswana
The Republic of Botswana provides diplomatic personnel with Exemption Certificates in place of residence permits. These certificates ensure that diplomats and their families are not subject to the usual immigration requirements and can reside in Botswana without the need for residence permits. Exemption certificates are issued to the following members of the diplomatic community:
